Star Pavarotti is a full brother to:

  • Yarranoo Music: Winner ABCRA open horse of the year, twice winner world championship draft Sydney Royal
  • Star Carousal: Champion Led ASHS Filly at Brisbane Royal as a 2YO, winner of the Moonbi Cowhorse Futurity as a 3YO and the 1978 Cloncurry Stockmans Challenge as a 4YO
  • Star Glen Minstrel: Winner numerous cutting events in QLD
  • Star Brigadoon: Sire of campdrafting and polocrosse horses

Pavarotti was never campained himself but has proven to be a successful sire.  He is a kind no fuss horse who is a pleasure to have around.

Nita McLennan has said that the Pavarotti mares are proving to be as good or better broodmares than the STAR BLACK MINSTRIL- FS mares which are highly sort after.

Progeny have gone on to win national champion led awards, working classes, campdraft’s, dressage, eventing, polo and polocrosse awards.

TOPRAIL TAIPAN, by Pavarotti, was the first ASH Stallion exported to Ireland.

Pavarotti’s progeny display the traits that made STAR BLACK MINSTRIL -FS so famous, the balance of speed, natural ability, agility, style, wonderful nature and perhaps most importantly HEART.

We have had recent success with our Pavarotti progeny picking up Supreme Led, Supreme Ridden, winners of 2 and 3 yr old Futurities, winner of the 2013 NSW open mens polocrosse horse (Adam Wrobel) winner of the 2013 ASHS Westpac Star of the Year to name a few.

Pavarotti does not stand to outside mares but is still fertile for our own mares.
